Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States; one in every three deaths is from heart disease and stroke, equal to 2,200 deaths per day. Know your ABCS as the CDC has put together a short educational way to remember and know what to look out for: A for Aspirin: Ask your doctor if you should take an Aspirin every day. B for Blood Pressure: know your blood pressure. C for Cholesterol: know and treat your cholesterol if it’s abnormal. S for Smoking: If you smoke get help to quit. For more healthy tips and ways to get started on a healthy route see the CDC website: and Make this month a healthy month.
